Diana’s life passion and commitment has been directed to building resilient communities, sustainable development and environmental protection. Her community involvements are extensive and span more than forty years. She was a Lismore City Councillor for 12 years and has been a member of the Chamber for over 20 years. While recently retired, Diana’s working life has been diverse.

In 1991 she established Nimbin Apothecary with the aim of making herbal medicine accessible and affordable for the local community. Providing a much-valued over-the-counter herbal dispensary, Nimbin Apothecary was the first of its kind in the region and grew into the successful local business it is today.
